Smederevo city is one of the largest cities – fortress not only in Serbia but in Europe. The fortress was built in the form of irregular triangle. Each side has its length over 500m and internal space inside the walls is more then 10 hectares.

Smederevo city built a serbian despot Djuradj Brankovic in year 1430.

The history of Smederevo as a military fortress is completed.

The fortress, that once had the exceptional power where were invests the enormous efforts of the founders and builders, today also gathers exploratories and tourists.
